Blackpool Tower is just something else!
The Tower Ballroom alone is worth the trip. Stunning inside and the dancing was so fun to watch. The whole seafront has loads going on and the fish and chips were spot on. Great weekend break.
Brilliant family trip, kids loved every second
Pleasure Beach is absolutely mental in the best way possible. The rides are top class and there is something for every age. The Golden Mile kept us busy for hours and the kids were buzzing the whole time. Way more to do than we expected for a short break.
Blackpool Illuminations did not disappoint
Came specifically for the Illuminations and wow, they really go all out. Miles of lights along the promenade and it feels genuinely festive and fun. The trams running through it all add a really cool old school feel. Loved every bit of it.
Lively seaside town with loads of character
Blackpool has its own thing going on that you don't really find anywhere else. The North Pier is lovely for a stroll and the sea air is so refreshing. Plenty of cheap and cheerful eating spots too. Good fun.
Classic British seaside done right
Rock candy, donkeys on the beach, arcades - it is all here and it is great. Stanley Park is a real hidden gem just a short walk from all the seafront madness. Clean and well kept. A proper nostalgic feel throughout.
More fun than I thought it would be!
Ended up here on a whim and had a brilliant time. The promenade is busy and lively and there is always something to look at. Grab a portion of chips by the sea and you are sorted. South Beach is quieter if you want a bit of calm too.
